Debra Ann Allen, age 54, of Maidsville, passed away early Sunday morning, February 10, 2019 at her residence. 

She was born July 9, 1964 in Morgantown, WV. She was adopted and raised as a daughter of the late Ira Edward Stevens and the late Ada Bell (Page) Stevens and was born to the late Harley Fox and the late Mary Stevens Sprouse . 

Survivors include her daughter, Melissa Allen and fiancé Walter Johnson; her son, David Allen, Jr.; sisters Susan Tomago and her husband Michael, Diana Crites and Linda Patterson; brothers Daniel & Charles Fox; her grandchildren including “her Princess” Miley Allen, Aujiana Johnson and Ashley Johnson, a special niece, Tera Tomago; a special nephew “Phatz”;

Several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and her soul mate of 15 years, Kenneth Bierer.

In addition to all of her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Zackery Taylor, a brother, Tommy Stevens; and two sisters, Rose Taylor and Donna Banks.

Her hobbies included working puzzles, knitting, spending time with her family, spending time with her dog Phoebe who was her pride and joy and watching TV. She was Pentecostal by faith.

Friends may join the family to honor Debra’s life & legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Morgantown, on Thursday, February 14th from 12:30 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM with Pastor Bill Page officiating. Following the funeral service, she will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.

The family wishes to extend their most sincere thanks to the staff of WV Caring Hospice, and to David Allen and Melissa McIe for their care and support.
